In Brief
Big relief for the Chief Minister's dear sisters
Scrutiny of applications from over 10 lakh women
The biggest package for farmers!
The Chief Minister's Beloved Sister Scheme will be discontinued after the local self-government elections, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis directly responded to this allegation by the opposition. The Beloved Sister Scheme will never be discontinued, the Chief Minister reassured the beloved sisters by making this clear.
In July 2024, before the assembly elections, the then Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced the Chief Minister's Beloved Sister Scheme. Subsequently, 2 crore 62 lakh women applied. During the scrutiny process of more than 10 lakh women's applications, many were found ineligible for various reasons. As a result, currently, 2 crore 47 lakh eligible beloved sisters are receiving 1500 rupees per beneficiary in their bank accounts. However, the opposition is consistently alleging that the Beloved Sister Scheme will be discontinued after the upcoming elections.
The Mahayuti government will not discontinue any of the announced schemes. Therefore, even though the opposition claims that the Chief Minister's Beloved Sister Scheme will be discontinued, this scheme will not be stopped, the Chief Minister expressed confidence. He also said that if you renew our contract after five years, we will give you a concession for another five years. Fadnavis clarified that the Beloved Sister Scheme will not be discontinued. He was speaking at an event in Phaltan.
The biggest package for farmers!
Our grand alliance government is a government that thinks about development. We want the development of every individual in society. After the crisis on the farmers in Maharashtra, the largest package in history of 32,000 crore rupees has been announced and aid has started to be received, said Fadnavis.
