Devendra Fadnavis : 'Large-scale investment for the third Mumbai will come to Maharashtra', claims Chief Minister Fadnavis
The World Economic Forum, considered extremely important for Maharashtra in terms of attracting global investment, is soon to be held in Davos, and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has departed for the Davos tour. During this tour, the Chief Minister has firmly claimed that a large amount of foreign investment will come to Maharashtra. Chief Minister Fadnavis stated that for the development of the 'third Mumbai', a significant amount of investment will come to Maharashtra from the global level. During this tour, discussions will be held with many international companies for infrastructure, industrial development, IT, green energy, electric vehicles, semiconductor, and smart city projects.
Fadnavis said, “Maharashtra is the fastest-growing industrial state in the country. Favorable policies for investors, a stable government, and modern infrastructure have increased global companies' trust in Maharashtra.” 'Third Mumbai' refers to the economic and industrial hub being developed in the Navi Mumbai International Airport area, which will include logistics, financial services, IT parks, and residential projects.
During this tour, Chief Minister Fadnavis will hold bilateral meetings with heads of various multinational companies, investors, and global banking institutions. It is anticipated that Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth thousands of crores may be signed. He also clarified that this will lead to large-scale job creation in the state. Due to the state government's industry-friendly policies, single-window clearance, and rapid decision-making process, Maharashtra is becoming the first choice for investors. This tour at the Davos conference is expected to give a new direction to Maharashtra's economic development, expressed Chief Minister Fadnavis.
