During the period from Dhanteras to Diwali, 'Unified Payments Interface' or UPI has once again taken the lead in digital transactions. According to the statistics of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), the growth of UPI transactions during this period was faster than all other payment methods. This indicates that people are using UPI more for shopping. During the 3-day period from Dhanteras to Diwali, there was an average of 73.7 crore UPI transactions per day.
