Navi Mumbai: Leopard Roaming Again on Kharghar Hill, Atmosphere of Fear Among Villagers

(Navi Mumbai) The sighting of a leopard once again in the Chafewadi Pada area on the Kharghar hill has created an atmosphere of fear among the locals. There is talk that due to dense vegetation and increasing construction, wildlife is turning towards the hill. A leopard was also seen in this area four months ago. The villagers have demanded the forest department to immediately set traps to capture the leopard. According to the latest information received, the area will be re-examined, said forest officer Gajanan Patil.
