LPG cylinder prices reduced, know the price in your city

Oil marketing companies on Tuesday announced a reduction in the price of commercial LPG cylinders. The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 41. This decision has given relief to hoteliers. Therefore, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi will now be Rs 1762. After the reduction, the price of a 19 kg cylinder in Mumbai has become Rs 1,714.50, in Kolkata Rs 1,872 and in Chennai Rs 1,924.50.

Just last month, oil companies had increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 6 in major cities on March 1, 2025. Based on global crude oil prices and other market factors, oil companies in India revise oil and gas prices on the first day of every month.

Over the past few years, businesses related to food and cooking have faced unexpected increases in costs. In March 2023, commercial LPG cylinder prices saw a huge hike of Rs 352, impacting the operational costs of restaurants and other establishments. Despite this fluctuation, domestic LPG cylinder prices have remained stable for several months, bringing some relief to the common man.
