MHADA has set a target of constructing 19,497 houses in its budget for 2025-26. A provision of Rs 92902.76 crore has been made for this. It is proposed to construct 9902 houses under Mumbai Mandal. More than 11 thousand MHADA houses across the state are in Konkan Mandal.

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority has recently approved the authority's budget of Rs 15956.92 crore for 2025-2026 and the revised budget of Rs 10901.07 crore for 2024-25. 1836 houses will be constructed under Pune Circle, 692 under Nagpur Circle, 1608 under Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Circle, 91 under Nashik Circle, and 169 under Amravati Circle.

The Mumbai Board has made a provision of Rs 2800 crore in the budget for the redevelopment scheme of BDD Chawls in Worli, Naigaon, Parel. There is a provision of Rs 350 crore for the PMGP Colony redevelopment project in Jogeshwari East, Rs 205 crore for the Peripheral Bay redevelopment project in Bandra West, Rs 573 crore for the construction of flats in Siddharth Nagar in Goregaon, and Rs 20 crore for the construction of a hostel for boys and girls on a plot in Jijamata Nagar, Parel.
