The Vande Bharat Express running between Nagpur and Pune is receiving a tremendous response from passengers. The service of this train, which has been running for the past five months, is currently operated six days a week, except on Tuesdays. The local railway administration has indicated a decision to increase the frequency of these trains considering the needs of the passengers, which will make the Nagpur-Pune journey more convenient.
On Saturday, Central Railway's General Manager Vivekkumar Gupta conducted an in-depth inspection of the Manmad-Bhusawal section. During this tour, he reviewed operational efficiency, safety standards, and the progress of ongoing development works. He also met with local legislators and other public representatives to discuss various railway-related issues.
While speaking to reporters, Gupta said that the number of trips of the Nagpur–Pune Vande Bharat Express will soon be increased, and in the future, the maintenance of these trains will also be done in Bhusawal. Necessary planning and preparations are underway in this regard.
On this occasion, Central Railway's Divisional Railway Manager Puneet Agarwal, as well as key and senior officials from the headquarters and Bhusawal division, were present. They also provided information about these plans and clarified that various measures are being initiated to enhance facilities for passengers.
Due to this decision of the Vande Bharat Express, Nagpur-Pune passengers will get a faster, safer, and more convenient journey, and with the increase in regular trips of these trains, the travel experience will improve. This is considered an important step towards improving railway facilities for local and long-distance passengers.
