Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar passed away in an accident at Baramati airport today (January 28). The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has confirmed this. Ajit Pawar, along with five others, died in the accident. The chartered plane crashed off the runway during landing and caught fire. This included the pilot, security guard, and crew members.
Air India flight faces difficulty in Jaipur
The Air India AI-1719 flight coming from Delhi to Jaipur could not land on the first attempt. After touching the runway, the plane was lifted again. A safe landing was made on the second attempt at 1:05 PM. Congress state in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa was also on the flight and exited safely.
