Sharad Pawar NCP Protest: A protest was held in front of the ministry under the leadership of NCP leader Mehboob Sheikh, demanding justice for the suicide case of female doctor Sampada Munde in Phaltan. The ministry premises echoed with slogans like "Justice for Sampada Munde!" The protesters demanded a high-level inquiry into the female doctor's suicide case and strict action against the accused.
