Was the explosion a suicide attack?
So far, 12 people have died in the explosion that occurred in the Red Fort area of Delhi. Additionally, 20 people have been injured. The injured are receiving treatment in the hospital. The Ministry of Home Affairs has made a significant decision regarding this incident. The investigation of the explosion has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency. Therefore, the NIA will now conduct the further investigation of this case. To review this case, Union Home Minister Amit Shah called a high-level meeting at his residence. The meeting started at 11 AM. All senior officials were instructed to attend the meeting. The investigation of the car explosion was handed over to the NIA after the meeting. Additionally, a high alert has been issued across the country. Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), Delhi Police Commissioner, and the Director General of the NIA, along with many senior officials, were present at the meeting.
The car explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi has shaken the capital Delhi as well as the country. The investigation gained momentum immediately after the explosion, and the Union Home Ministry accelerated the investigation by discussing with the security department. Raids were conducted at several places throughout the day. Now, the investigation of this explosion has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). This decision was announced by the Union Home Ministry. Meanwhile, the connection of this explosion has been linked to the Faridabad module. A few days ago, during an operation by the Kashmir police, Dr. Jammil Shakeel from Faridabad and a woman, Dr. Shahina Shahid, from Lucknow were arrested. They have connections with Jaish-e-Mohammed.
After a high-level meeting, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said we are exploring all possibilities and will conduct a thorough investigation considering all aspects. The Hyundai i20 car used for this attack and the terrorists' connections are being investigated, and a high alert has been issued across Delhi. The intensity of this car explosion was such that many nearby vehicles were burnt to ashes. According to eyewitnesses, the area was engulfed in flames and the injured were screaming for help.
Explosion a suicide attack?
In the preliminary investigation by the Delhi Police, there is a possibility that this explosion was a suicide attack. As soon as information about the arrest of the Faridabad module was received, it was revealed in the investigation that the suspect had planned a suicide attack. Now, to determine the motive behind the explosion, all relevant agencies are investigating every aspect. A team from the Maharashtra ATS raided Mumbra and has started a thorough interrogation of two individuals. Electronic items have been seized from them and will be analyzed. This operation in Mumbra has caused quite a stir.
Did the doctors plot the explosion?
A major terrorist network has been exposed in the country, and the names of Dr. Adil Ahmed Rathar and Dr. Mohammad Umar have come to light in this case. It is suspected that Dr. Umar was in the car where the explosion occurred, while Dr. Adil was arrested from Saharanpur. Previously, Dr. Muzammil Shakeel was arrested from Faridabad and Dr. Shaheen Shahid from Lucknow. It has been revealed that there is a connection of 6 doctors behind the explosion.
