Even if the body is incomplete, if dreams and determination are complete, nothing is impossible. Talent does not need a body or limitations to fulfill dreams. This has been proven by Sheetal Devi from Kashmir. Despite being born without both hands, this young woman has made such a mark in the world of archery that her name is now etched in golden letters in the history of Indian sports.

Sheetal Devi, who won a gold medal for India in the World Para Archery Championship, has now reached another new milestone. She has been selected for the Indian able-bodied junior team for the Asia Cup Stage-3 to be held in Jeddah. This means she will now compete shoulder to shoulder with able-bodied athletes. Sheetal has become the first para-archer in the country to achieve this success.

Even without hands, Sheetal Devi, who draws the bow with her feet and shoots arrows accurately at the target, is one of the few archers in the world. The world had already witnessed her determination and confidence when she shared her story on the popular show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' last year. At that time, she confidently stated, "I want to compete with able-bodied archers one day," and within just a year, that has become a reality. This moment has truly become a historic moment for the Indian sports field.

After being selected for the Indian team, Sheetal wrote on social media, “When I started archery, my dream was small. To stand in front of capable archers. Initially, I lost repeatedly, but I learned from each defeat. Today, I am one step closer to that dream.”

After her post, there has been a shower of congratulations from across the country. Sports enthusiasts, para-athletes, and ordinary citizens have praised her performance, saying “This is the true inspiration of India.” Sheetal Devi's training is taking place in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir, and her coaches have also referred to her achievement as a “miracle of human willpower.”

Even without both hands, she never let physical limitations become an obstacle. She handles the bow with the help of her feet, aims, and with each arrow, she shapes her dreams. Today, her name resonates not only in the sports world but in the hearts of everyone who has faced struggles in life. Sheetal Devi is not just an athlete; she is an inspiration that redefines the meaning of the word 'impossible.'
