A tragic road accident occurred near Aundha Nagnath on Saturday morning involving a wedding party traveling in a pickup vehicle. The vehicle overturned, leaving nine people seriously injured and causing widespread panic in the area.

The incident took place around 9:30 a.m. when the wedding party was en route from Yehalegaon Solanke (Taluka Aundha Nagnath) to Dudhgaon in Parbhani district. The group was traveling in a pickup truck when the vehicle overturned near a bend close to Khandeshwari Temple, just a short distance from Aundha Nagnath.

The incident took place around 9:30 a.m. when the wedding party was en route from Yehalegaon Solanke (Taluka Aundha Nagnath) to Dudhgaon in Parbhani district. The group was traveling in a pickup truck when the vehicle overturned near a bend close to Khandeshwari Temple, just a short distance from Aundha Nagnath.

According to preliminary reports, the accident occurred after a speeding Ertiga car suddenly swerved near the pickup. The driver of the pickup lost control, resulting in the vehicle overturning along the roadside.

The collision was so intense that all passengers in the vehicle were thrown against each other. Those who sustained serious injuries have been identified as Samadhan Solanke, Feroz Sheikh, Ganesh Solanke, Gangadhar Ladhad, Sandu Mudanar, Prayagbai Kadam, Rajesh Solanke, Sonaji Solanke, and the driver, Ankush Ingole. Several others received minor injuries. Fortunately, all are reported to be in stable condition.

Upon receiving information about the accident, a police team led by Inspector G. S. Rahire of the Aundha Police Station promptly arrived at the scene. Officers including Jamadar Dnyaneshwar Gore, Ravikant Harkal, and Sandeep Tak, with assistance from local villagers, quickly arranged for the injured to be transported to a private hospital in Hingoli using ambulances and private vehicles.
