Sanjay Raut : Parth Pawar was saved in the Mundhwa land scam case claims MP Sanjay Raut
The Mundhwa land scam case in Pune has once again come into discussion, with Thackeray faction MP Sanjay Raut making serious allegations against the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) and the ruling government. Claiming that Parth Pawar has been deliberately saved in this case, Raut has raised questions about the role of investigative agencies. Sanjay Raut said, “The Mundhwa land scam is a major financial scam. In this case, action has been taken against some officers and mid-level individuals, but no concrete action has been taken against Parth Pawar. It clearly appears that efforts are being made to save him.”
According to Raut, in this case, due to the equations of elections and power, certain people are being protected. “Where was Parth Pawar arrested? Where was he interrogated? If action can be taken against other officials, then who is politically responsible in this case?” he questioned. Along with this, Raut also raised serious questions by linking the name of Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar to this case. “Why is Rahul Narvekar's name not in the investigation reports? Why is there an avoidance of mentioning his video or role? All this is being done to save those in power,” he alleged.
Sanjay Raut alleged pressure on investigative agencies, saying, “Today, there is no equal application of the law in the state. Those in power are protected, while action is taken against the opposition. This is extremely dangerous for democracy.” Meanwhile, there has been no official response from the Nationalist Congress Party or Parth Pawar to these allegations yet. However, these allegations are likely to further heat up the political atmosphere in the backdrop of the upcoming elections. The entire state is watching to see what action will be taken in the Mundhwa land scam case, whether Parth Pawar will be investigated, and whether the investigative agencies will work impartially. How the government and the concerned agencies respond to the questions raised by the opposition will become clear in the coming times.
