The political atmosphere seemed particularly vibrant on the last day in Wai taluka. For the district council, 36 applications were filed across four groups, while 45 candidates entered the fray for the eight constituencies of the Panchayat Samiti, totaling 81 applications. Independent candidates, along with various parties, have also marked their strong presence. The atmosphere of enthusiasm was created in the tehsil office area with drums, fireworks, and slogans. Each party demonstrated its strength by filing applications, thus heralding the start of the election campaign.
