Pragyan Ojha Appointed to Technical Committee for Asia Cup 2025
Before the Asia Cup 2025 tournament, an important responsibility has been assigned to a former Indian team spinner. The matches of this T-20 tournament, which will start on September 9 and end on September 28, will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE.
According to Cricbuzz, former Indian left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha has been selected for the technical committee of the Asia Cup. As a member of this committee, he will resolve disputes related to the matches and make decisions regarding player replacements during the tournament. Additionally, the committee will be responsible for ensuring the smooth conduct of the tournament and adherence to the rules. The task of appointing officials for the matches will also be carried out by the committee.
Pragyan Ojha has played 24 Test matches, 18 One Day Internationals, and 6 T20 Internationals for India as a player. He has 113 wickets in Test cricket, 21 in One Day Internationals, and 10 in T20 Internationals. After retiring from cricket, he has also served as a member of the IPL Governing Council and the Indian Cricketers Association.
