The atmosphere for the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar has started heating up, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has begun his campaign from Muzaffarpur. In a joint meeting organized in the presence of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Rahul Gandhi launched a strong attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Rahul Gandhi said, “If Modi is told to dance in exchange for votes, he will even dance on stage. He has nothing to do with Chhath Puja or the cleanliness of the Yamuna, he only cares about your vote count.” He further commented on the pollution in the Yamuna in Delhi, saying that devotees perform rituals in polluted water, but the Prime Minister bathes in a specially made swimming pool. “Modiji has nothing to do with Chhath Puja,” he criticized in these words.

The BJP immediately countered Rahul Gandhi's speech. According to the response issued by the BJP, Rahul's speech used “language like local thugs” and insulted Modi's supporter voters. The BJP stated that he has insulted Indian voters and democracy. Rahul Gandhi also criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in equally strong terms. “Nitish Kumar has done nothing for the backward classes in 20 years. His face is in front, but the remote control is in the hands of the BJP.” He criticized. He launched a dual attack on Nitish and the BJP on the issue of social justice.

This time, Rahul Gandhi once again accused the BJP of 'vote theft', saying that after stealing elections in Maharashtra and Haryana, they are now attempting the same in Bihar. He also raised the issue that nearly 6.6 million names have been removed from the voter list in Bihar. He appealed, 'Vote for the Grand Alliance for the voice of democracy and Bihar.'

Criticizing the economic policies of the Modi government, Rahul Gandhi said that demonetization and GST have destroyed small industries. “What is written on the back of your mobile? Made in China! But we say, it should be Made in Bihar. Youth should get employment, Bihar should once again become a center of education.” He also reminded that the revival of Nalanda University was a contribution of the UPA government. Rahul Gandhi said, “We will provide a government that will represent every caste, religion, and community. No one will be left behind.” Concluding his speech, he promised change and just governance in Bihar.
