A low-pressure area has once again formed in India's maritime region, (Rain Alert) with one moving westward and another eastward. Due to these low-pressure areas, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rainfall in many states across the country. In this context, citizens have been warned to remain alert, and in Maharashtra, the intensity of rain is expected to increase once again in the coming days.
According to the information provided by the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure area has formed in the Gulf of Kutch to the west and in the Arabian Sea to the northeast, which is likely to intensify further in the next few hours. On the other hand, a low-pressure area has also formed in the Bay of Bengal. As a result, there is a possibility of extremely heavy rainfall with strong winds in many states. During this period, the wind speed is expected to be as high as 55 to 60 km per hour. The Meteorological Department has also predicted that this low-pressure area is likely to intensify further in the next few hours, thereby increasing the risk once again.
Due to the low-pressure areas formed simultaneously in the Arabian Sea, Gulf of Kutch, and Bay of Bengal, the intensity of rain is expected to continue in the country until October 10, according to the weather department. A warning of heavy rain with stormy winds has been issued by the weather department.

According to the forecast by Skymet, due to the low-pressure area, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in many states of the country, including West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, Maharashtra has already suffered significant damage due to rain, and now once again a warning of heavy rain has been issued, increasing concerns. Today, a yellow alert for rain has also been issued by the meteorological department for many districts, including Nashik.
