Bhagat Singh Koshyari : 'Raj Thackeray is too scared of Modi', Bhagat Singh Koshyari's sensational claim
Mumbai/Nashik – After MNS President Raj Thackeray criticized the RSS Chief on linguistic issues, the political atmosphere has heated up. “Do not make political comments on boring sermons,” Raj Thackeray indirectly targeted the RSS program. Following this, a strong reaction emerged from the BJP camp, with former Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari directly criticizing Raj Thackeray. The RSS program organized at Worli Dome was attended by Bollywood artists and dignitaries from various fields. Against this backdrop, Raj Thackeray remarked, “People come to such programs out of fear.” He also questioned, “Will these people go there after losing power?”
Reacting to this, Bhagat Singh Koshyari said, “Not all people attending the Sangh's program would be afraid of Narendra Modi. I respect Raj Thackeray, but I think he is too afraid of Modi.” He further advised, “Do not fear Modi, go near him. Like Lord Shri Ram, Narendra Modi treats everyone equally.” He remarked that those living in the land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj need not fear anyone, but should fear doing wrong deeds.
Meanwhile, MLA Rohit Pawar had alleged about Ajit Pawar's plane accident, saying “This is a hundred percent conspiracy.” To this, Koshyari said, “Ajit Pawar was a great leader. Even if I was criticized, he never criticized me. I will never forget him.” If there is suspicion of conspiracy, a formal inquiry should be demanded from the government, he advised.
While speaking during the Nashik tour, Koshyari demanded the establishment of a religious corridor like Ayodhya, considering the increasing number of devotees in the Trimbakeshwar and Panchavati areas. “I had come here even 40 years ago. A large number of devotees come here. Development like Ayodhya should happen here too,” he said. Koshyari's statements have sparked new discussions in the state's politics, with signs of verbal clashes increasing between MNS and BJP.
