Bhagwat's Speech During Manipur Visit
After months of ongoing ethnic conflict in Manipur, Mohan Bhagwat visited the state for the first time. During the organized meeting, he discussed various issues related to society, nation, and culture. He stated that India is an 'immortal society' and emphasized that the Hindu tradition should be seen as the foundation of the world's existence.
“The Hindu society is immortal”
Addressing the gathering, Bhagwat said, “India is the name of an immortal society. Many other cultures and empires were born, rose, and eventually perished. But India still endures and will continue to do so. This is because our society has built a strong social network based on fundamental values.” He further said, “Great empires like Greece, Egypt, and Rome have vanished. But India's existence remains intact. There must be something that prevents our existence from fading.” Through this, he highlighted the resilience, continuity, and historical longevity of Indian society and Hindu culture.
