Against the backdrop of the Maratha protesters' demands, the state government has issued a new government resolution. However, during the cabinet meeting held in this process, Food and Civil Supplies Minister and OBC community leader Chhagan Bhujbal was absent. Subsequently, he has taken a stance to challenge this decision in court. This has fueled further discussions about Bhujbal's dissatisfaction with the government. Against this backdrop, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction) MP Sanjay Raut commented. He said, "It doesn't seem like everything is fine in the government."

In a press conference today, Sanjay Raut said, "In fact, Chhagan Bhujbal was not given a place in the cabinet by the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar). Since he is an OBC leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi specifically intervened to include him in the cabinet. For this, he instructed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Bhujbal is a minister today not because of Ajit Pawar's favor, but due to Prime Minister Modi's favor. Because Modi considers himself an OBC leader. He believes, 'I am OBC, I am the biggest leader of OBCs.' Such caste-based language does not befit any Prime Minister. However, Modi often speaks in terms of caste."

“Chhagan Bhujbal is an OBC, which is why Prime Minister Modi made him a minister in Maharashtra's cabinet," Raut said. He further stated, "He overruled everyone's opposition and insisted on including Chhagan Bhujbal in Maharashtra's cabinet. Now, it seems Bhujbal is displeased. Therefore, he might meet and discuss this issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Since Modi included him in the cabinet, Modi might listen to his concerns. To resolve the reservation issue, a constitutional amendment is necessary. If they want to secure the reservation, they can work towards giving it a legal framework," Raut also said.

Chhagan Bhujbal is talking about going to court against the GR on Maratha reservation. Additionally, he was absent from the recent cabinet meeting. Reacting to this, Raut said, "If Bhujbal is unhappy, he should resign. If injustice is being done to your community and you are the leader of that community, it is not appropriate to remain in the ministerial position." He further said, "In history, the then Finance Minister C.D. Deshmukh immediately resigned after having differences with Nehru. Similarly, Bhujbal should make a decision based on self-respect and morality."
