Mumbai – The political atmosphere has heated up again over the plane crash incident involving Nationalist Congress Party leader Ajit Pawar. Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MP Sanjay Raut has raised serious questions, demanding a neutral and thorough investigation into the matter. Sanjay Raut said, “The investigation into Ajit Pawar's plane crash should be conducted independently and on a technical level, not by the CID. This is not just a matter of an accident, but it has technical, mysterious, and political dimensions.” He further claimed, “The day before, a plane goes to Surat in Gujarat, and the very next day, the same plane comes to Baramati to pick up Ajit Pawar and crashes. Whether this is a coincidence or not should be investigated.”

Raut also indirectly expressed suspicion about a leader from eastern Vidarbha. “Which party does that leader belong to? BJP or NCP? If that leader deliberately met late to cancel Ajit Pawar's motorcade program, then that should also be investigated,” he questioned. “If a file had not been signed, would Maharashtra have come to a halt?” he also remarked. Meanwhile, when asked about Sunetra Pawar and Parth Pawar being on a Delhi tour, Raut said, “This is an internal matter of their party. However, I can only say that not everything is fine within the party.”

Raut clarified Shiv Sena's stance on what their position would be if a no-confidence motion is brought against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. "Democracy is being strangled in Parliament. The opposition leader is not allowed to speak. Even on issues of national security, voices are not allowed to be raised. Om Birla is acting as if he is a BJP worker. Shiv Sena will support the no-confidence motion against him," he said. On the question of pressure on the British Prime Minister regarding the Epstein files case, Raut said, "In Britain, resignations happen due to pressure, but in our country, who cares about pressure?" Sanjay Raut's statements have sparked new discussions in the state's politics.
