Shocking information given by Fadnavis in the assembly regarding the Phaltan female doctor case
(Devendra Fadnavis) A question was raised in the assembly today regarding the death of a female doctor in Phaltan. To this, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis responded in the house. “The female doctor committed suicide, and the incident has caused a wave of intense grief in society. We have appointed an SIT (Special Investigation Team) and an inquiry is underway through a judicial committee. The honorable members raised three important issues. According to the investigation so far, the forensic report has been received. According to that report, whatever is written on the doctor's hand, that handwriting is hers,” informed Chief Minister Fadnavis in the house.
“The second point was raised whether the accused exerted pressure in this case? It has been revealed in the investigation that the police officer facing defamation, information leaking from them, obtaining chats, and from that, physical exploitation has been exposed,” said Chief Minister Fadnavis.
“The investigation has revealed that the defaming accused deceived the doctor and exploited her. He promised her marriage, but later took a different stance and physically exploited her,” said Chief Minister Fadnavis. “The doctor was a medical officer, and a report is needed on whether the person who has been arrested is suitable for physical and mental detention,” said Chief Minister Fadnavis.
“The female doctor had issued certificates declaring the accused unfit in some important cases, upon which the police had written a letter to senior officials at that time. All these events occurred five months ago,” said Chief Minister Fadnavis.

“In the case of the female doctor's suicide, the defamer took advantage of her situation. Using that situation, another accused deceived her. She wrote the names of both accused on her hand. According to the investigation so far, the doctor's death was due to hanging. And according to the forensic report, the handwriting on the hand is hers. The investigation is still ongoing, and the process of filing charges is underway. Many aspects have come to light, which the court has independently investigated. The police investigation is ongoing under the guidance of a female IPS officer,” Chief Minister Fadnavis clarified in the assembly.
