In the domestic bullion market on January 9, GoldNews international market developments, dollar movements, and local demand are impacting the bullion market, with gold prices currently holding at high levels. Both investors and customers buying jewelry are closely monitoring the prices.

As of today, the price of 24-carat gold per gram in India is 13,799 rupees. The price of 22-carat gold per gram is 12,649 rupees, and the price of 18-carat gold per gram is 10,349 rupees. There has not been a significant change in the price of 22-carat gold, which is primarily used for jewelry purchases.

Considering the price per 10 grams, 22-carat gold is trading at 1,26,490 rupees, 24-carat gold at 1,37,990 rupees, and 18-carat gold at 1,03,490 rupees. These prices appear to be at nearly the same level in most major cities across the country.

In the cities of Mumbai, Pune, Kerala, Kolkata, Nagpur, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, the price of 22-carat gold per 10 grams is Rs 1,26,490, 24-carat gold is Rs 1,37,990, and 18-carat gold is available at Rs 1,03,490. This shows a similar situation regarding prices in the bullion markets of these cities.

Meanwhile, gold prices are slightly higher in the capital Delhi and Chandigarh. In these cities, the price of 22-carat gold per 10 grams is Rs 1,26,640, 24-carat gold is Rs 1,38,140, and 18-carat gold is Rs 1,03,640.

Speaking of silver prices, today the price per gram of silver is 251.90 rupees, and per kilogram, silver is trading at 2,51,900 rupees. Considering the festive season and the upcoming wedding season, it is anticipated that there might be increased activity in the bullion market in the coming period.
