Sudesh Mhashilkar Breaks Silence on Allegations by Prachi Pisat

Actor Denies Flirting, Cites Hacked Account in Defense

In a dramatic turn of events, veteran Marathi actor Sudesh Mhashilkar has finally responded to the serious allegations made against him by actress Prachi Pisat. The actor took to social media to break his silence, claiming that his Facebook account was hacked, and a formal complaint has been lodged with the Bhayander Police Station.

The controversy began when Prachi Pisat shared a screenshot of a message allegedly sent by Mhashilkar, in which he appeared to flirt with her. The message read: "Send your number... I want to flirt with you... How sweet you look." Enraged by this, Prachi posted a strong rebuttal on social media, suggesting sarcastically that he should try flirting with his wife instead and daring him to call her for the same.

She added a caption implying that other women may have similar stories, urging Mhashilkar to apologize or come clean.

In response, Sudesh Mhashilkar published a detailed statement on Facebook, expressing his shock over the incident and offering his side of the story. The actor attached a copy of his police complaint, stating that his account may have been compromised. He emphasized that tampering with a personal social media account is a punishable offense under Indian law.

“Actually, I wasn’t going to respond at all,” Mhashilkar wrote. “But after seeing the reactions of people and media over the past few days, I felt the need to speak up. So here I am, presenting my views on the matter.”

Key Points from Mhashilkar’s Statement:

  1. Did I really send that message?
“The message was sent from my account, yes — but when, how, and whether someone misused my account is unclear to me. I’ve filed a written complaint, which is attached.”

  2. Were the messages obscene?
“I’m sharing screenshots from my phone, which clearly show a humorous tone — full of laughing emojis. If it had been offensive, I would’ve expected at least a question like, ‘Why did you send this?’ Instead, the message was taken out of context and misinterpreted.”

  3. Did you ask for her number to flirt?
“I already had Prachi Pisat’s number saved in my phone. There was no need to ask for it again via Facebook. I also tried to call her the day the post went up, but she didn’t answer.”

  4. Why the delay in responding?
“I’m not very active on social media. I spend most of my time on set or with my family. My wife is a cancer patient, and my children work in the industry too. The stress this caused them was unimaginable.”

  5. Did you or your friends threaten her?
“I never asked anyone to message or call her. If some of my close friends did so out of concern, I have no control over that.”

  6. Allegations of past behavior with other women?
“People who truly understand me — including close friends who know my wife — still visit us. That should speak for itself.”

As the situation continues to unfold, the matter has sparked a significant discussion on social media about cyber safety, celebrity accountability, and the responsibilities of both accusers and accused in the digital age.
