Thackeray Family Unites: A Historic Marathi Pride Celebration at Vijayi Melava in Dadar.

In a historic moment for Maharashtra politics, the Thackeray family came together on a single platform after 18 years, marking the celebration of "Marathi Vijay Din" at the grand Vijayi Melava held at the Worli Dome in Dadar.

The rally, led by Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and MNS chief Raj Thackeray, drew massive crowds of party workers and Marathi supporters. The event was organized to commemorate the withdrawal of the controversial Hindi language government resolution (GR), which many viewed as a threat to the Marathi language and identity.

Speaking on the occasion, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said, "Today is a symbolic and powerful day for Marathi people. This rally will go down in history as a celebration of the Marathi language’s pride — a true Marathi Vijay Din."

Adding to the emotional gravity of the event, it wasn’t just Uddhav and Raj who shared the stage — their entire families were present. Aditya Thackeray, Amit Thackeray, Mitali Thackeray, Tejas Thackeray, Sharmila Thackeray, and Rashmi Thackeray were also seen together, reinforcing the unity within the Thackeray clan. MP Supriya Sule was also seen holding Aditya Thackeray’s hand and guiding him towards Raj Thackeray — a moment that drew heartfelt reactions from supporters.

Banners featuring the Thackeray brothers adorned every corner of the venue. The atmosphere was emotionally charged, and party workers from both sides celebrated the rare moment of unity. Chants of “Voice of Marathi!” echoed across the crowd, turning the political gathering into a cultural celebration.

With all eyes on the speeches of Raj and Uddhav Thackeray, Maharashtra paused to witness what many are calling a turning point in Marathi politics. The reunion of the Thackeray family on such a platform has sparked speculation about future political realignments and the potential revival of Marathi-centric political energy.
