PM Kisan Yojana : The 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana will be available in August; know the date

The central government has brought good news for farmers. The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM-KISAN) will be deposited into the bank accounts of eligible farmers on August 2, 2025. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute this installment from his constituency, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, through a special program. Under this scheme, a total of 6,000 rupees is transferred directly to farmers' accounts in three installments of 2,000 rupees each year.

So far, nearly 9.8 crore farmers have benefited from the 19 installments of the scheme. This amount is useful for farmers' needs during the Kharif season. This year, the government has made e-KYC and Aadhaar-bank account linking mandatory to increase transparency. During this process, if incorrect information is provided, the installment may be withheld.

Has the amount been credited to your account? Here's how to check:

1. Visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in.

2. Click on the 'Beneficiary Status' option.

3. Enter Aadhaar number, mobile number, or bank account details.

4. Click on 'Get Data' to see whether your installment has been received on the screen.

If the message "Payment Success" appears, your payment is complete. Otherwise, reasons such as "e-KYC incomplete", "incorrect bank details", or "Aadhaar not linked" will be shown.

Note:

Complete e-KYC before the deadline to receive the installment. It is essential that land and bank details are accurate. The installment is directly credited to the account through the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) system. Keep all your documents updated to avoid any misuse or ineligible benefits. If the installment is not received, contact your district's agricultural officer or service center.
