Against the backdrop of municipal elections, the political atmosphere in the state has heated up, and today, due to the public meetings and tours of the major leaders of the ruling grand alliance, the campaign is set to gain strong momentum. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar will interact with voters through public meetings, roadshows, and campaign rallies in various parts of the state today.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will be present today at Shrikshtra Gahininath Gad in Patoda Taluka of Beed district. A grand religious and cultural program has been organized here on the occasion of the 50th golden death anniversary of Saint Vaman Bhau. Along with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Environment Minister Pankaja Munde and former MLA Dhananjay Munde will also be present at this event. On this occasion, a large number of devotees and followers are expected to arrive from across the state.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will also address public meetings in Solapur, Pimpri, and Mumbai today. The meeting to be held in Solapur in the afternoon is considered extremely important in view of the upcoming municipal elections. Everyone is focused on which issues the Chief Minister will comment on and what stance he will take on local politics. It is said that the meetings in Pimpri and Mumbai will also give more momentum to the campaign.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also has an important tour today. He will arrive in Kolhapur district at 4 PM and will conduct a roadshow in the backdrop of the municipal elections. Before this, the induction ceremony of former Gokul president Vishwas Narayan Patil into the party will take place. This is expected to start new equations in Kolhapur's politics. After that, at 8 PM, Eknath Shinde will hold a grand public meeting at the Nashik Golf Club grounds.
On the other hand, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's campaign rally is set to start at 10 AM in Pune today.
