Sanjay Raut : “The law is not the same for everyone”, Sanjay Raut aggressive on Parth Pawar's clean chit
Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) party's MP and spokesperson Sanjay Raut has taken a very clear and aggressive stance on the issue of Parth Pawar's clean chit and the discussions on the possible merger within the Nationalist Congress Party. “The topic of the merger is entirely theirs. Shiv Sena has nothing to do with it. Why should we interfere in it?” Raut firmly expressed his stance in these words.
After the sad demise of Ajit Pawar, discussions about the merger within the Nationalist Congress Party have once again gained momentum. Raut mentioned that these discussions have gained speed especially from the Ajit Pawar faction. “Those whom Sharad Pawar brought into politics, gave positions, and strength, are now advising what Sharad Pawar should and should not do. This is entirely their internal matter,” he remarked.
Raut made a sarcastic comment saying that the sight of Sunil Tatkare guiding Sharad Pawar was “very interesting.” “We have nothing to do with what discussions took place between Sharad Pawar Saheb and the Ajit Pawar faction. Our subject is limited to the India Block and the Maha Vikas Aghadi,” he clarified.
Journalists should not ask questions about personal moments related to Sharad Pawar and Sunetra Pawar, Raut also said. “Sunetra Tai has lost her husband and Sharad Pawar has lost not just a nephew but someone like a son. At such a time, it is not appropriate for journalists to ask questions,” he gave an emotional response.
Speaking on Parth Pawar's clean chit, Sanjay Raut became more aggressive. “The High Court had made some remarks in this case, which will not be easily erased. Fadnavis is not the protector of the law. The law is not the same for everyone in Maharashtra,” he made a serious allegation. He said Parth Pawar should have faced the inquiry and obtained a clean chit, raising the issue of benami transactions.
“Their government, their Chief Minister, and the party is being run by Fadnavis. In such a situation, what can the people of Maharashtra do?” Raut indirectly targeted the government with this question. Overall, these statements have once again stirred up the state's politics, and there is a possibility that political conflict on these issues will intensify in the coming times.
