Security has been increased in the capital after an unknown person threatened that bombs had been placed in Patiala House, Dwarka, Saket, and Rohini courts in Delhi this morning. Similarly, there has been a stir as two CRPF schools in Dwarka and Prashant Vihar received similar threats. The bomb squad and dog squad have started inspecting all court premises, and many places are undergoing evacuation, access control, and complete sanitization. The Delhi Police and Delhi Fire Service have not yet given an official response; however, the movements at the actual sites indicate that the situation is serious.
Meanwhile, in the investigation of the Red Fort blast case, the NIA has recently taken significant action. Amir Ali and Bilal, both associates of the suspect Umar in this case, have been arrested. Bilal has been brought to Delhi from Jammu and Kashmir, and the NIA will seek further custody of him. Against this backdrop, security arrangements in Delhi have been further tightened. Police checks have been increased at all major checkpoints, borders, and public places in the capital. The investigation is ongoing to determine whether the received threats are real or fake, and no possibility is being ruled out.
