Tuljapur Temple Controversy: A major controversy has arisen at the sacred Shri Tuljabhavani Temple in Tuljapur. The temple priests have alleged that the sword used in the weapon worship ritual has gone missing. This sword is kept in the temple's treasury, but currently, it is not found, and there is suspicion that it has been taken outside the temple.

According to the priests, this sword is not just a weapon, but it was consecrated with Vedic mantras. They claim that the principles and powers of the eight weapons of Goddess Shri Tuljabhavani were specially incorporated into this sword. It is claimed that this ritual was conducted under the guidance of Padma Shri awardee Dr. Ganeshwar Dravid Shastri.

The priests further stated that the power of the Goddess was transferred into this sword through rituals. Now, they demand that this sacred sword be brought back to the temple and placed near the idol of the Goddess, so that it is available for devotees to see. Additionally, they have accused the temple administration of conducting these rituals without informing the chief priest of the temple. The priests claim that this has violated religious traditions. Meanwhile, the temple administration has not yet taken a clear stance on this matter. They have adopted a cautious approach by stating "The investigation is ongoing" and "Complete information is being gathered."

Due to this controversy, the pressure on the temple administration to provide an explanation has increased, and since the sword is still missing, concern has grown among devotees and in religious circles.
