Shiv Sena's Nirdhar Melawa: "Anaconda snake came to Mumbai and left...", Uddhav Thackeray's Attack on Modi-Fadnavis
A resolution meeting was organized today in Mumbai by the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) party. Subdivision heads, branch heads, and a large number of Shiv Sainiks were present at this meeting. The issue of increasing confusion in voter lists and the matter of bogus names came to the forefront. Party chief Uddhav Thackeray gave clear instructions for party officials to take an active role in this matter.
In his speech, Uddhav Thackeray said,
“In a democracy, voters elect the government. But now the situation has reversed. The government is deciding who will vote and who will not. This is a conspiracy that is swallowing democracy.” Citing an example of some voter lists in Mumbai having 1200 names but only 300 actual houses, he explained that democracy is being undermined by including a large number of bogus names in the voter list.
Direct orders given to officials
“From today, each group leader, branch head, and deputy division head should start verification door-to-door with the voter list. Voters must be verified by face. There is no place for bogus names,” Thackeray gave this strict order. Along with this, he ordered that in the next election, polling agents must have a voter list with photos as a mandatory arrangement, as directed by Uddhav Thackeray.
“If a bogus voter comes to vote, send them back without hesitation,” they gave a direct warning. Uddhav Thackeray strongly criticized the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Modi wants to swallow Mumbai. This is not a new ploy; it has been ongoing since the struggle for a united Maharashtra,” he criticized. Additionally, he questioned, “Where have you heard of GST being imposed on tea after a tea seller becomes Prime Minister?”
Targeted Modi, Gadkari-Fadnavis
Addressing BJP leader Nitin Gadkari, Thackeray said, "Gadkari, who always talks about ghee and puran poli, it was nice to hear him mention Savji chicken. New BJP workers should now pick up the mats from the new BJP office in Mumbai." Meanwhile, he also attacked Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over the decision on concretization. "You are achieving development by taking contractors' contracts."
There is excess,” alleged Thackeray. He claimed that permission for concretization in Kalyan was given to Adani, and responded to the government's accusations of urban Naxalism. Those who became Prime Minister by selling tea have imposed GST on tea. Are there any Prime Ministers like this? he criticized Prime Minister Modi. Overall, today's Shiv Sena resolution meeting and Uddhav Thackeray's anti-BJP speech at this meeting are currently going viral.
