This incident occurred in the Mau area of Kushinagar district, Uttar Pradesh.

According to the information received, Prof. Tripathi was traveling with his family to their native village. They left Ramtek at six o'clock in the evening yesterday (Friday). The accident occurred near Kushinagar around six o'clock on Saturday morning. The accident was so severe that two people died on the spot. Upon receiving news of their death, a wave of mourning spread across the university campus.

An important name in the field of Sanskrit literature

Prof. Hareram Tripathi was known as a great scholar and literary figure in Sanskrit literature. He conducted many educational and cultural activities at Kalidas Sanskrit University. He had planned significant initiatives for the expansion of the university in Nagpur. Due to his sudden demise, these efforts remain incomplete.

Academic journey

Prof. Tripathi was born in Deoria (Kushinagar), Uttar Pradesh. After primary education, he reached Banaras in 1986. He passed the Uttar Madhyama examination from Ramacharya Sanskrit University and completed his education up to Shastri, Acharya, and Ph.D. from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University.

He obtained his Ph.D. under the guidance of renowned scholar in jurisprudence, Prof. Vashishtha Tripathi. His career began in 1993 as a research assistant at the National Sanskrit Institute (Ranveer Campus, Jammu). Subsequently, he was appointed in the Department of Philosophy at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University. In 2009, he became a professor in the Department of Sarvadarshan.

Writing and Honors

In the field of Sanskrit literature and philosophy, they have authored and edited more than 30 books. They have received numerous awards for their contributions. In 2003, they were awarded the Maharshi Badrayan President's Award by the Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Institute. Additionally, they have received many honors in the fields of Shankar Vedanta, Panini, and other research areas.
