Nitesh Rane : 'We need a mayor who says I love Mahadev' - Nitesh Rane's jibe at Uddhav Thackeray
The political atmosphere has heated up over the issue of renaming Mumbai, and serious allegations have been made against Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) party chief Uddhav Thackeray. "No matter how much Uddhav Mamu says, no matter how much false information is spread, Mumbai can never become 'Bombay,'" claimed a leader from the Mahayuti, strongly criticizing Uddhav Thackeray.
While continuing the criticism, the concerned leader referred to the events after the Lok Sabha elections. “After the Lok Sabha, the way fatwas were issued from mosques, an appeal was made to vote for Uddhav Thackeray, and along with that, 16 types of conditions were set, similar conditions have now been placed before Uddhav Thackeray again,” it has been alleged. They also claimed that one of these conditions is extremely serious.
“Some mullahs have demanded to make Mumbai 'Mohammed Land', and I have information that Uddhav Thackeray has accepted this condition,” the leader has made a sensational claim. However, no official response has yet come from Uddhav Thackeray or his party regarding these allegations. Therefore, the truth of these claims is yet to be verified.
Meanwhile, firmly stating that “Mumbai can never become ‘Bombay’,” he raised the issue of Mumbai's identity. “Mumbai is the financial capital of the Marathi people, Maharashtra, and the country. No compromise will be allowed with its identity,” he said. Against this backdrop, he drew attention to the upcoming Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections and made the campaign of the grand alliance more aggressive. “If you don't want Mumbai to become ‘Mohammed Land’, then Mumbai needs a mayor from the grand alliance who says ‘I love Mahadev’,” he appealed to the voters. This statement is likely to once again create intense controversy in Mumbai's politics.
