Weather Update : Weather chaos in the state; Sometimes cold, sometimes heat, and even the possibility of rain
In Maharashtra, there have been significant fluctuations in the weather over the past few days. Sometimes there is severe cold, sometimes cloudy weather, and sometimes sudden heat. Until November, many parts of the state experienced rain. After that, the cold started to be felt in December. However, in January, due to continuous changes in temperature, citizens are confused.
The weather department initially stated that, like December, the cold would persist in the state in January as well. However, as January is coming to an end, the expected cold is not being felt in the state, and there are significant fluctuations in temperature. Notably, while severe cold is being felt in the northern parts of the country, Maharashtra is experiencing relatively mild cold or warm conditions. Generally, when the cold increases in North India, its effect is also seen in Maharashtra. But experts say that this year the situation is somewhat different.
Meanwhile, a rain warning has been issued for Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, and Jammu-Kashmir, and severe cold is also being experienced there. In comparison, Maharashtra has been experiencing constant changes in the weather for the past fifteen days. In many areas, there is a situation of cool mornings, hot afternoons, and cloudy evenings.
Currently, a conducive environment for rain has developed in the state. Therefore, the weather department has predicted unseasonal rain in some areas today. It is expected that cloudy weather will persist throughout the day in many districts. The lowest temperature in the state has been recorded in Dhule, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.5 degrees Celsius. Cloudy weather is also expected today in some parts of North Maharashtra, including Dhule.
Experts have expressed the possibility of an impact on citizens' health due to constantly changing weather. The incidence of colds, fever, cough, and body aches may increase. Therefore, citizens are advised to take appropriate care, use warm clothing, and remain alert to sudden changes.
