In the backdrop of the Kumbhmela in Nashik, tree lovers and leaders from political parties have taken an aggressive stance against the ongoing deforestation in the Tapovan area of Sadhugram. As the movement by environmentalists and tree lovers against the ongoing deforestation in the Tapovan area of Nashik's Sadhugram intensifies day by day, environmentalists, tree friends, and actor Sayaji Shinde have also taken a firm stand. Will the sages and saints, for whom the trees are being cut, agree with the deforestation? Sayaji Shinde has raised this question.

Political leaders and many celebrities from the film industry are raising their voices on social media about the issue of tree cutting in Tapovan. The Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Kamgar Sena will also publicly protest the massacre of 1800 trees in Tapovan. Notably, all artists will participate in this protest, and tree lovers in Nashik are also invited to join, as appealed by MNS. This protest will be held near the arch on Sambhajinagar Road in Tapovan on Saturday, December 6, in the morning. Prior to this, a press conference was held today where Sajai Shinde presented their stance.

There is a plan to establish a grand Sadhu village on 1,150 acres in the Tapovan area for sages and saints. For this, approximately 1,800 trees are being cut down. As a result, tree lovers and environmental enthusiasts have become aggressive, and actor Sayaji Shinde has strongly opposed this deforestation. He also said, ''It doesn't matter if sages come and go.'' In line with this, Sayaji Shinde held a press conference today to clarify his stance. The idea of cutting down trees that are less than 10 years old and planting other trees in their place is fundamentally wrong. It's like killing children and keeping the parents alive, how much life do they have left anyway? Therefore, the idea of cutting down trees and planting 10 trees elsewhere is fundamentally wrong. Trees are our parents. We live only because of trees. If someone attacks your parents, will you remain silent? I have this question for every person in Maharashtra, said Sayaji Shinde.

Will cutting trees be acceptable to saints? - Shinde

How can we insult any saints, in the first place, will cutting trees be acceptable to saints? Such a question was raised by Sayaji Shinde. Rishis and sages used to meditate under trees, he also mentioned. When asked about the statement made by Minister Nitesh Rane regarding environmentalists, he clearly stated that he does not want to respond to it. Meanwhile, the idea of breaking ten-year-old trees and planting another 10 trees in their place is wrong. Trees are important and it is also important that they survive.
