Today marks the 100th birth anniversary of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray. The political atmosphere in the state has heated up against the backdrop of the centenary year, and while the demand for a Shiv Sena mayor is gaining momentum, Thackeray group's MP Sanjay Raut has directly targeted BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a post on social media in memory of Balasaheb Thackeray. In this post, Modi mentioned that Balasaheb Thackeray was his guide and that he received inspiration and energy from him. Based on this post, Sanjay Raut strongly criticized. “The same Balasaheb Thackeray whom Modi is paying tribute to, his Shiv Sena was broken by the BJP. Eknath Shinde was placed in the position of Shiv Sena chief. Now does Modi take inspiration and energy from Shinde?” Raut posed this pointed question.

This time, Raut highlighted the leadership and thoughts of Balasaheb Thackeray. “After Lokmanya Tilak, Balasaheb Thackeray was the true people's leader. He gave the idea of unity to Maharashtra and the country. Whether it is the Marathi people or the Hindu community, the unity's stronghold can fight any crisis, he demonstrated this through his actions,” said Raut.

On the occasion of Balasaheb Thackeray's birth centenary, a special program has been organized by Shiv Sena at Shanmukhananda Hall in Mumbai today, and Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray are expected to attend, as informed by Sanjay Raut. He also noted that Balasaheb made the common man brave and made him aware of his rights. Meanwhile, Sanjay Raut avoided commenting on the dispute between the Shinde group and MNS alliance in the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation. However, it is clearly visible that the political conflict between the Thackeray group and the Shinde group has intensified on the very day of Balasaheb Thackeray's birth centenary.
