OBC Bahujan Aghadi President Prakash Anna Shendge has sent a memorandum to the Election Commission regarding this. Voting is scheduled for February 5, and on the same day, the large annual fair of Chinchani Mayakka Devi of the Dhangar and Bahujan community takes place. Millions of devotees from across the state participate in this fair held on the Maharashtra and Karnataka border with their families.

According to Shendge, due to this religious fair, many voters will be out of town. Therefore, a large number of people will not be able to vote on the polling day, and there is a possibility of a lower voter turnout.
