When it comes to home, accidents, big and small, keep happening. Sometimes a knife gets stuck while cutting vegetables in a hurry, sometimes a finger can get pinched while closing a door, and sometimes a cut can happen while ironing or cooking. At home, injuries are treated after they are noticed. If there is excessive bleeding, you have to go to the hospital. However, these three measures must be taken before going to the hospital.
If you get a burn while cooking, first apply cold water to the area or leave the thin edge of a tap on the burned area. However, is this edge gentle? Keep an eye on this. Then, apply fresh aloe vera gel to the area. For this, take an aloe vera leaf. Separate the green skin of the aloe vera with the help of a knife. Separate the flesh from the gel and keep it separately on the burned area. This will immediately reduce the inflammation there. Secondly, the sooner the gel is applied, the less chance of blisters forming on the burned area.
Once the fire has subsided considerably due to the application of aloe vera, the third remedy is to apply a mixture of ghee and honey to the burned area. Ghee and honey are readily available in every household. Therefore, mix one spoon of ghee and one spoon of honey together in a clean bowl and apply it to the burned area with gentle hands. Often, the burned skin is so sensitive that no touch is desired in that area. At such times, Ayurveda recommends applying a mixture of ghee and honey with the help of a mortar and pestle.
