In Vasai, a student was punished to do 100 sit-ups with her bag on her shoulder because she arrived late to school. After returning home from school, the girl's health deteriorated.
She was then admitted to the hospital and died during treatment. In this case, after the post-mortem report at JJ Hospital, a case of culpable homicide has finally been filed by Valiv police against teacher Mamta Yadav for causing death.
