Nashik: 15,000 Trees Arrived in Nashik from Rajmundry; Planting to Begin Tomorrow

Against this backdrop, there is now opposition to the proposed tree cutting in Tapovan, while on the other hand, trees have been ordered from Rajahmundry in Hyderabad. Against this backdrop, 15,000 trees dispatched from Rajahmundry have started arriving in Nashik, with the first phase's large container reaching the outskirts of Nashik city.
Girish Mahajan went to Rajahmundry and personally selected 15,000 native trees. Tree planting will start from tomorrow, and this plantation will be carried out in different parts of the city. Trees like Banyan, Peepal, Neem, and Jamun will be planted, with the initial planting of 15,000 trees. It is reported that a decision regarding the trees in the Tapovan area will be made thereafter.
