18,000 Contract Teachers to be Recruited in the State

(Contract Teacher Recruitment) Information has been received that 18,000 contract teachers will be recruited in the state. Contract teachers will now be appointed in 18,106 schools with low enrollment in the state.

It has been informed that one contract teacher will be appointed in schools or classes with less than ten enrollments, and one contract and one regular teacher will be appointed in schools with less than twenty enrollments.

Approximately three thousand teachers from about 620 schools in the state will need to be relocated elsewhere. The government decision on the recognition dated March 15, 2024, was approved by the High Court.
