In this context, it is now being reported that Thackeray's Shiv Sena and MNS will form an alliance in 5 municipal corporations.

Along with the Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Thackeray's Shiv Sena and MNS are set to form an alliance in Kalyan Dombivli, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, and Pune Municipal Corporations. It is learned that local leaders from these five municipal corporations have been given the responsibility to hold preliminary discussions regarding seat allocation.

For the Thane Municipal Corporation, Rajan Vichare from Thackeray's Shiv Sena and Avinash Jadhav from MNS have been given the responsibility to discuss seat allocation, while for the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation, former MNS MLA Raju Patil and MLA Varun Sardesai from Thackeray's Shiv Sena have reportedly been entrusted with the responsibility of seat allocation discussions.
