A tragic accident occurred as devotees were returning from the Ashadhi Ekadashi pilgrimage in Pandharpur. An ST (State Transport) bus carrying pilgrims overturned after hitting a road divider near the Mahabeej office in Chikhli, Buldhana district. The incident happened around 3 PM on Sunday.

According to initial reports, nearly 30 passengers and devotees sustained injuries in the accident. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. The injured are currently undergoing treatment at hospitals in Chikhli and Buldhana.

The bus was en route from Pandharpur to Khamgaon and was carrying 51 devotees who had participated in the annual religious celebrations. The accident occurred as the group was returning home after completing the pilgrimage.

Local residents rushed to the spot and extended immediate help to the injured passengers. Authorities were also quick to respond, and the injured were taken to nearby government hospitals for treatment. The cause of the accident is under investigation. More details are awaited.
