(Aaditya Thackeray) In the state, heavy rain showers have been pouring along with cloudy weather for the past few days. Flood situations have arisen in many villages, disrupting daily life. Citizens are troubled by heavy rainfall, cloudbursts, and floods. Against this backdrop, Aaditya Thackeray has now written a letter to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Aditya Thackeray stated in the letter, 'I wish to inform you about the plight of farmers due to excessive rainfall in the state, which has caused significant damage to farmers in many districts of Marathwada due to the flood situation. In some places, even the soil from the fields has been washed away. Many farmers have suffered losses of nearly 50% or even more. This situation is extremely distressing and it is imperative to take immediate remedial measures.'

'In your speech, you promised the people of the state that you would waive off loans at the right time. That time has come, and the farmers of the state are in dire need of loan waivers. As per my information, the government owes more than 15,000 crore rupees for compensation of previous natural disasters, and it is extremely necessary to distribute this outstanding amount as soon as possible.'

'As per my information, only funds amounting to 2,339 crore rupees have been approved. However, it will take a considerable amount of time to actually distribute the aid. In this situation, the government should make an immediate decision to provide prompt assistance to the farmers and compensate for their losses in a timely manner. Since the damage to the farmers in the state has exceeded 33%, there is no need for a formal assessment according to the rules, and it is our duty to provide aid to all farmers without exception. Assistance should be provided immediately to the farmers as per the type of damage incurred, without getting entangled in any criteria, and it should be the expected and necessary help.'

Along with this, he further said, 'Sir, we request you to take immediate and effective steps to help the farmers so that they can receive timely assistance and get some relief.' This is what Aditya Thackeray mentioned in the letter.
