(NCP) All parties are preparing for the municipal elections. Many parties have started vigorous campaigning, organizing meetings and rallies. Voting for the municipal elections will take place on January 15, 2026, and the counting will be on January 16, 2026, with elections for 2869 seats.

Ajit Pawar seems to have entered action mode for campaigning. However, a week into the campaign and with only eight days left for voting, no major leaders from Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party are seen in the campaign.
