An incident causing a stir has occurred in the voting process for a total of 143 member positions in various districts, including 23 municipal councils and municipal panchayats in Maharashtra, today (December 20). Voting is taking place from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and voters have been queuing at many polling stations across the state since morning. In such an atmosphere, two people were caught red-handed distributing monetary support in Ward No. 28 of the Ambernath Municipality by activists of the Nationalist Congress Ajit Pawar group.
This incident occurred in the Kohjgaon area of Ambernath city. Against the backdrop of the municipal elections, it was revealed that two suspicious individuals were distributing money to voters near polling station number 28. Upon seeing this, activists from the Nationalist Congress Party Ajit Pawar group immediately took action, caught the two, and handed them over to the flying squad. Currently, the police have arrived at the scene, and further investigation and action are underway.
