Ajit Pawar Slams Opposition in Indapur: "If I Decide to Remove a Thorn, I Will"
At a campaign rally held in Akole village of Indapur taluka, Pune district, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar delivered a fiery speech while addressing supporters of the Chhatrapati Cooperative Sugar Factory. The event, held as part of a pre-election campaign, saw Pawar strongly criticize the opposition and assert his political will.
“I always keep my word. If I decide to make someone an MP, I will do it. If I choose to remove a thorn, I will remove it. Whoever I decide to bring down, I will bring down,” Pawar declared, signaling his confidence and determination in political decision-making.
Touching upon the long-pending water issues in Indapur, Pawar assured that he remains committed to resolving the problem. “I won’t rest until the water issue affecting 53 villages is resolved—whether elections are near or not. I’ve always worked to ensure justice for the people,” he said.
While highlighting the achievements of the Chhatrapati Cooperative Sugar Factory, Pawar emphasized its progress and strong foundation. “This factory has benefited from the guidance of Sharad Pawar Saheb, along with leaders like Gholap and Jachak. It’s a fact that this factory pays higher rates to farmers compared to others,” he stated.
Taking direct aim at the opposition, Pawar commented, “People say I am close to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The truth is, I only know him by name. But does anyone even know who you are?” He questioned the credibility of his rivals, drawing applause from supporters.
He further added, “Those who have failed to manage their own businesses—can they be trusted to take responsibility for 22,000 members?” reinforcing his criticism of the opposition’s competence and leadership.
The campaign meeting energized the local cadre ahead of the upcoming political season, with Ajit Pawar positioning himself as a decisive leader committed to development and accountability.
