BJP Prepares for District Council and Panchayat Samiti Elections; 1,000 Aspirants Seek Candidature

The announcement for district councils and panchayat samiti elections has been made. Elections for 12 district councils and 125 panchayat samitis in the state have been announced, with voting to take place on February 5 and results to be declared on February 7.

Against this backdrop, preparations for the district council and panchayat committee elections have begun in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Aspirants have started striving to secure BJP candidacy, and nearly 1,000 aspirants have requested candidacy from BJP for 63 district council groups and 126 panchayat committee seats in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district.

It is being said that BJP will attempt to form an alliance with Shinde Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party Ajit Pawar group.
