A major change has been made in the land revenue law, and now there is no need for N.A. permission. There is no longer a need for independent permission from the district collector for non-agricultural use.

The non-agricultural tax that was being levied has now been completely abolished, and only a one-time 'conversion premium' will have to be paid. This decision was made following the suggestion of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
