(Nashik BJP) Voting for the municipal elections will take place on January 15, 2026. The counting of votes will be on January 16, 2026, and the election will be held for 2869 seats. All political parties have started preparations for the municipal elections.
Action has now been taken against those rebelling against the official BJP candidates due to not receiving a nomination in the election. In Nashik, 54 rebels have been expelled by the BJP. This includes 20 former corporators along with former mayors, and this action has been taken due to breaking party discipline, according to BJP city president Sunil Kedar.
